What was the big deal?  Why did he not just step up to the plate, Dean in tow?  It does not seem cricket, to put it mildly, to have parents granting that a two week long rant by what appears to be more than one author has now somehow absolved the Dean and the Head of their moral and professional obligations to these students.

Because of all this sound and fury, as one put it, they are now excused?  I beg to differ.

At my public (albeit) religious school, admitting mistakes was extremely important, and whilst mostly it involved students, it would have been so much more important had it involved any member in authority.

They need to make things right, regardless of what people in an anonymous forum (who might well be trolls) have to say on the matter.  End of subject.[/quote]
