My husband's employer has offices in the UCLA area, and they offer a $25k bonus in addition to moving expenses and a cost of living adjustment as incentives. And still, they have a hard time staffing that office. Everyone is on you for not putting your family first by moving, but your husband wouldn't be putting his family first by moving either. San Diego might have been a draw, but I think LA has a lot more cons than San Diego. [/quote]
