I have a better one from my childhood. One our houses (we moved often) had a ghost that actually threw things across a room, one day I was in the den and books tumbled off a bookshelf. That scared me and I stopped going into that room. This was the late 60s and my parents thought it would be fun to have a seance during a party, the next day my dads car wouldn't start and a couple of other things happened that I cannot recall as I was only about 5 at the time.  The car not starting and the books falling off the shelf just stuck in my memory.[/quote]
