+1.  OP did you need some type of validation.  I hate to break this to you, but my dad has a 6th grade education and really did walk 5 miles to school.  In this region, there are several high income black people, but it is still the anomaly in this country.  Most black people are poor.

Yes, I said anomaly.  Yes, I do believe that.  I get out a ton.  I work in the nonprofit field and study the data.  All of my friends are doing well, but I realize that I live in a bubble.  Get out of yours.  I live in NW DC on the Gold Coast - I get it.  But, I also know that black people are suffering and to ignore that, means that you aren't doing anything to help.[/quote]
