Churchill is only high school in the crown study that ends up over capacity (112%). Not sure how that’s a win for Churchill. A win for the outlying wayside and Potomac families who live closer to crown but didn’t want to move, but not for the rest of Churchill.
They will be correcting this with the ES boundary study, which will allow moves for secondary due to capacity, among other things. Only those on the borders will be holding their breath. And a segment of the in-bounds Churchill population will end up going to Crown's STEM magnet (in lieu of Blair) and RM's IB magnet, while considerably fewer from outside are likely to be heading to Churchill's magnets. None of that is reflected in the 112% projection, which is among the reasons they will be juuusst fiiiiinnne.
