That's a good question, especially because Kingsview will be hovering between 103 and 90% capacity under these projections.

An additional question is why they took Darnestown out of Lakelands Park in the first place. If you look at the projections Lakelands Park is soon going to be at 55% capacity with 509 available seats in 2031-2032 while Ridgeview is going to be at 44% capacity that same year with just 416 students total.  I wonder if me they might try to shut down Ridgeview and merge it into Lakelands Park if that's the case... [/quote]

That sounds like even more reason that Darnestown ES should get zoned for Poole MS. 
The sup’s current proposal has DES going from Lakelands Park MS (with kids who are ultimately zoned for QO) to Kingsview MS (with kids who are ultimately zoned for Northwest HS) to Poolesville HS (in a completely new cluster). 
Sending DES to Poole MS would at least allow them to establish friendships with kids outside of their very small elementary school before they’re together with them for high school for the first time. 
As the latest proposal currently stands, it’s an incredibly disjointed and disruptive trajectory for DES, one of the smallest elementary schools in the county. [/quote]
