Agree something seems off with him. He did say he thinks she fell. I think he knows she did and maybe heard or saw it and was too drunk to do anything about it and has never admitted to it. His eyes were shifty and his story was odd.

First, he left her in the club alone dancing. Then he left her alone on the balcony. Then she's missing. Even if he doesn't remember/know what happened, he surely has some guilt. Had he done 1 thing different this might not have happened. The family is adamant that the crew was strangely observant/interested in Amy. These ships had thousands of people. The crew barely acknowledges you. I find them sticking to that very very weird.[/quote]

The bass player is definitely suss. Could be he conspired with a crew member to traffic her.

The sightings included one or more men with her, depending. Why were those men not tracked down based on the descriptions??

I wonder if she wasn't taken to Venezuela after a stint in the Caribbean. She looked awful in the pick on the sex worker website. It's not unusual for their handlers to hook them on drugs to make them more compliant.
