ABC knows that Moran has lost credibility. He cannot effectively report when has made his bias so public. They really had no choice.

Imagine if a reporter at the WSJ or another more conservative outlet had said something similar about a member of the Biden administration.  Nothing they ever reported in after that would be believed.
