I’m not remotely MAGA. I am liberal and voted Harris. But I think the way the BLM thing manifested itself was very damaging to the left. There were a lot of right-wing shit stirrers in the mix though, some of whom were caught on video. [/quote]

I am british and my friends are too. the NHS strikes and people die. ambulance workers strike and people die. teachers strike and kids are home for weeks. in france, airport workers strike and no one flies to certain airports that whole time.

Actually if you google you’ll see that police in the uk are not non violent during protests.

Listen we have to get out there. I’ve been gassed. It wasn’t great but I’m not going to let it stop me and neither have protesters in times past. This government is moving us towards being a dangerous autocracy where you’ll get indiscriminately arrested, deported and possibly experience violence whether you protest or not so may as well do it now and try to beat back the insanity even a little bit [/quote]

I don’t disagree with you. I also recognize that as a slow moving Black woman, I’m likely to be a target in ways that many others won’t be.  I do plan to be out there. I also recognize that “we” don’t necessarily share equal risks.[/quote]
