Most parents, certainly those on DCUM, are aware they are being judged in public for their kid's screen use. They still do it. Some, maybe even most, probably use screens too much. Some, unbeknownst to you, may be using a screen in a very limited circumstance (e.g. a rehearsal dinner that goes way past kid's bedtime). So maybe ranting about parents rotting kids' brains is not as revolutionary as OP thinks, and certainly not going to change anyone's behavior. Being a parent in this day and age is really stressful. When you are constantly being told you are doing everything wrong, you kind of start tuning it all out. [/quote]
