While I do fall into the law and order crowd, I think compassion for the imprisoned is a good thing. It reminds us of our national humanity and the opportunity for redemption. As for President Trump, what a wonderful and compassionate statement to open his second term as President. 1500 people have been given a second chance. Think of how much joy and happiness their families are experiencing this morning. What could be more American than that?[/quote]
