Agree.  As a democrat who grew up in North Carolina, the country really came together in empathy for those who lost homes and businesses.  It's very sad to know that apparently the only real Americans are those who live in red states.  Those in blue states don't merit our compassion.[/quote]

Would you agree that California can keep all the money it sends to the federal government that is redistributed to the taker red states? If so you’ve got a deal. California will self-flagellate about its “policy errors” as much as you like, and California will also get to keep all of its money that is currently taken and sent to red states. I’m sure both MAGA and Californians would be happy to take that deal. [/quote]

Deal for what? I’m not a Californian and this is their mess to deal with. I’m just pointing out that there are costs associated with flawed priorities, not filling your water reservoirs and not allowing insurance companies to price out risk. [/quote]
