The family knows where she got the gun. And if not they know where she got the money. And if they don’t know either of these things, they are not paying nearly enough attention to their mentally child. Parents need to know where their children’s money is going for lots of reasons, not just guns. But a huge swath of parents really suck these days, even in “nice” neighborhoods. [/quote]

Yes, absolutely. This is a good time to review potentially violent students in all schools.

This white trash father encouraged his daughter's shooting and at least tolerated, but likely also encouraged her "courageous attitude" and psychological aberrations.

Social services and schools need to be more proactive in identifying such cases in advance.

Let's not make a bunch of assumptions about what he did or didn't do. But if everyone at the school saw her as a problem and there were warning signs, then they need to be held responsible too. Schools need to start kicking these kids out. This was a private school, it should have been easy. Public schools too need to be held accountable when it happens on their watch.[/quote]

Thanks to all the disability laws run amok, public schools have a very hard time kicking any of these kids out. Turns out Free Appropriate Public Education isn’t for all kids. It’s just for kids with diagnoses. [/quote]
