That's not happening, for different reasons, one of which is that people got used to paying high prices, so that companies kept those prices. It's kind of like high college costs. Why do some colleges cost so much compared to others? Because some people are willing to pay for them, so those colleges keep the prices artificially high. Now, obviously, food is a necessity, not a college, so it's even more important that food prices remain affordable to some degree. The rate of increase of prices has stabilized, however, it's not going to go to prepandemic levels. Too many changes in this world.[/quote]
