One of our neighbors has a pit bull that they adopted. They have a metal collar on the dog when they walk the dog as it is so aggressive. The dog lunges at me aggressively when I am out. I avoid them when they are walking. There is no doubt I would be attacked if the dog got away from the owners.
Obviously the same thing as a pitbull so well behaved that OP didn't even know it was there.
You do understand that past performance is not indication of the future, right? There are only two types of dogs in these violent breeds...those who have snapped and those who will. Look, I don't care if you want to risk YOUR child's life by having them around. You want that PTSD of blood and tissue everywhere? Cool, cool. You have ZERO right to expose others to your poor decision-making.
I don't have a pitbull, have no friends with pitbulls, and have scars on my arm from being bit by a dog as a kid (not a Pitbull). But you have to admit some of you are coming off as completely unhinged. This dog was well behaved and OP didn't even know it was there. She's freaking out after the fact. She asked what to do in the future. The answer is ask to move seats or get off the plane. Freaking out, demanding a refund, going on and on about how they are irresponsible and dangerous is not going to get the dog kicked off the plane.
Thank you for being sane about the insane posts and their non-logic.
