Second- noone ever replied to my question about people from former colonies- when these europeans's grandparents and great grandparents went to India for example they were met by a movement called "quit India" that demanded that people from the UK ... quit india and go back home. Did they- go back to the UK and leave india? same with Algeria, all of the Middle East, Ivory coats, Ghana, Nigeria, Mali, Malawi, Botswana, Kenya, Malaya.

the Chinese were absolutely desperate since the europeans were literally selling their citizens drugs! they were like stop selling drugs! and the British were like how dare you tell us to not sell drugs- this is like if the governments of Mexico and the golden triangle told the USA  that the cartels had every right to sell drugs in the United States.   Same with state trade secrets- we are so upset at intellectual property theft but do you think the global south has forgotten how tea plants  were smuggled out of China?

At the end of the day George W. Bush and Georgia Melloni are correct- you have to deal fairly with Africa so that the africans have an incentive to stay IN Africa.   George Bush famously suggested  " that why are we sending food aid- cant we teach how to grow their own" and got yelled at as stupid b/c American companies  make enormous amounts of money selling that aid to the UN (so when we 'fund with tax payer dollars' the UN and WHO & WFO- American corporations and stockholder get that money back as payment for aid & equipment)

People in the global south could be scammed for a short time but you cant scam all the people all the time, at some point they will wake up and realize they are being scammed and then western nations will have to pay.  It's a much better idea to stop scamming people as suggested by Ms. Melloni.  and quit with the regime changes- if they want better democratic liberal governments, they'll elect them. there is a reason the French were appalled by the US invasion of Iraq- it wasn't b.c they felt bad for Saddam Hussein.

I'm incredibly liberal but I can completely understand that the leftist view that we should let the world be set on fire and whoever is lucky enough to escape  is cruel and so can a lot of otherwise liberal people. the europeans and Americans caused this problem so stop demonizing people of different races and religions and creating a desperate 'winner take all' scenario.
