true, and honestly, wealthy kids aren't eating cafeteria food, for the most part.[/quote]

And even if they are, the cost of trying to administer the program with income verification and limits probably costs as much as just making a school lunch for the kids that eat it.  It also avoids stigmatizing the kids that are eligible over those that are wealthier.    A school lunch is a basic meal.[/quote]

Right. There isn't a line of Land Rover parents avidly salivating over the money they can save and invest by making their children eat the free school lunch.[/quote]
