I think we are going through a period in the US when a lot of things aren't going right.  I don't know how long it will take to sort out or even if it truly will.

For me, I think there's almost nobody sane who would want the POTUS office.  Obama was probably the last one that I felt was deserving of the office actually.  I did NOT agree with his across the board but I did respect him and felt that he approached the office with the right attitude.  As a man, I don't think he is holier than thou and think he is a lot more ruthless and cunning than everyone gives him credit for LOL - the guy is not the nicest in the room.  However, you have to have that edge and be willing to throw fire.  For me, I'm willing to accept him because I think he really felt compelled to lead.

In the present age, post COVID, in this messy world of wars, noise, climate issues, financial dramas, I just don't see anyone who really wants the responsibility of figuring a way out for the right reasons.  Anyone who does is all ego.[/quote]
