This. Ask any teacher if there are ways this money could be used to better educate our children, and the ideas would come pouring out. Or, better yet, the money could be spent to adequately compensate our teachers for what they are already doing. Instead, we are spending our money to make sure everyone sees how righteous we are. Get over yourselves. We can't undo the past and don't have the money to whitewash without taking from places it would be better spent. Taxpayer dollars are being spent on a political performance.[/quote]
