If someone external wants to hear from students, they don’t just want to hear from top academic achievers. They want a range of experiences. If you want a student host/MC for an event, you want the most charismatic students and sometimes those are the B/C students. Sounds like the school isn’t exclusively selecting academic leaders, but applying criteria of the most suitable strengths for the positions they need to fill. [/quote]
