If your home is invaded, you will not have time to go through these conniptions. Let the dog deal with the intruder. You arm yourself, call the police, grab child no. 1 and take her to child no. 2, where you fort up and wait for rescue. The idea that children are going to be the ones running for help in the wee hours while mom is flinging their sibling through a window is comedic. Your plan is appropriate to a fire, not a home invasion. [/quote]
