The new 20-item limit is fine for the small self-checkouts but my Giant also has two regular-sized checkouts (with conveyor belts, the kind where checkers used to work) set up as self-checkouts. That does not have the 20-item limit yet. If they try to impose it there, they will get reamed by customers. A lot of people use those two measly full-sized self-checkouts for larger amounts of shopping because [i]most of the time, day or night, there are only ONE to two actual checkers working, and most often it's just one.[/i][/quote]
