Episode 1 followed the book storyline pretty closely. The books are 1,000+ pages and are incredibly detailed. The show generally does a good job following the narrative. If you haven’t read the books, stick with the show. There are new characters introduced and many storylines involving the new characters. There will be a lot of action this season![/quote]
