The feature where your host can review you without you seeing it before it’s posted leads to a lot of strife. I stayed in an owner-occupied AirBnB once for an extended period of time (long story). It was horrible for various reasons. The hosts wrongly accused me of breaking appliances. Nevertheless, I left a glowing 5-star review because I was scared they’d fight me if I said something wrong.
