I’m really not interested in hearing what a father thinks. Why is he speaking for the mother? Why don’t he let her speak for herself?
Because politicians and the SCOTUS don’t care to hear women. We are second class citizens in their eyes.
So really, the goal is to get judges thrown off the court and replaced with judges you approve of?
"Thrown off"? No. But judges we "approve of"? Absolutely. Those judges we approve of would be ones that protect women's medical privacy and choices. I want politicians OUT of reproductive choices.
100% And this is why republicans will keep losing. Women are not taking it.
Sadly many, many Republican women are fine with misogyny.
+1. So many women are fine with these policies.
Gee A lot of women support life. Imagine that.
Forcing a woman to give birth to a terminally ill baby, who gasps for air in his final hours, in pain . . . and then sticking the family with tens of thousands of dollars of medical bills is not "supporting life."
+1 - and the other thing that's rarely talked about because the whole situation is so horrific is - pregnancy is risky! The woman in that story luckily didn't have any complications during pregnancy or delivery that put her life or health at risk, but the fact is that carrying a pregnancy to term is much riskier than having an abortion. I can't think of anything more pro-life or pro-family than allowing a woman to end a doomed pregnancy without state interference to preserve her health so she can continue to be a mother to her living child or children.
