Interesting that people are reading this as anything else than Fox News shooting itself in the foot. Tucker is one of the only reasons people watch Fox News. There isn’t a cable news anchor out there who carries their network as much as Tucker carries Fox News. This would be like Sirius firing Howard Stern. It’s a loss for Fox News, not Tucker. Tucker will probably sign a record breaking deal at Sirius and have a similar, but bigger, platform than Megyn Kelly along with a podcast that generates millions for him as well. Rumble to Spotify are probably clamoring to sign him to big contracts as well.[/quote]

You’re grossly overestimating his own ratings and appeal. Don’t conflate right wing apparatus astroturfing and spamming with real life; nor hit pieces propping him up as a right wing boogeyman. He only has 3 to 4 million viewers. How many of those are just 50 to 80 years olds who keep the TV on Fox News whenever it’s on? Probably 90% or more. So if he can hypothetically peel off a couple hundred thousand sycophants, you think he’s going to get a “record-breaking deal”? :roll: Daddy Murdoch giveth and Daddy Murdoch taketh. 55 year old Tucker is just another washed up anchor after Fox News and News Corp astroturfing and PR.[/quote]
