The fact that dominion said “fox lied” and Fox said “we lied” is not typical. Fox must have thought it was worth $780 million to not have Tucker Carlson admit he lied on the stand. It’s a settlement, but it still has teeth - knowing that the court knocked down fox’s attempt to claim “newsworthiness” as a reason for airing lies is pretty powerful.
