The entire intention was for the group to drink & Drive the boat. Both Mallory Beach and Paul Murdaugh went to the University of South Carolina. It seems that they were home for the weekend from college, which I’m guessing is pretty typical given that SC is such a small state. Plus rich kids can go and party on their parents’ properties and boats for the weekend, eat a home cooked meal, etc. All of them had their own cars. Their hometowns were less than two hours from the university. [/quote]
