My first year is happy at Brandeis, and the older at Haverford! They have HS friends happy at (off the too of my head) Chicago, Tufts, Yale, Middlebury, UMD, and Wash U and many more colleges. Is all perfect - no; do they have complaints time to time- yes; but generally all are having happy and productive college experiences.
Tell me more about Brandeis and Haverford, planning to look at both, what do your kids like/not like
Brandeis and Haverford seem so different to me. Surprised someone is looking at both. Can you explain the attraction, pp?
DP Maybe a very liberal person who is intelligent & Jewish ?
I think I’m the PP, yes to intelligent and Jewish, less so super liberal (DS is more middle of the road although he’s used to being around super liberal). We’ve visited both now and both seem like great schools but not sure if either is the perfect fit. Very impressed with Brandeis academics, the campus itself is kind of lacking, and not sure if DS will find his people, we may visit again. Haverford is lovely, but maybe just too small.
