People keep saying that they are only playing with 1/2 their squad. Why? Maybe done for  basketball conflicts but if you aren’t playing 3/4-full team then you are behind the eight ball. This is just a poor excuse for sorry play. I can tell you we had girls upset at not getting a chance to play because we had too many.[/quote]

If you aren't working everyone in during the winter, shame on you.  This is the time to build skills and get looks. It's not about the "stars" getting their chance and playing to win.  I feel bad for your kids. Field multiple teams if you need to.  No one should be "upset" for not getting to play in winter.

I could not agree more if you had so many girls that they all couldn't be on the team then why not field multiple teams it is allowed you know and they even have a JV division for the less skilled younger girls so they can compete with teams/girls with equal skill. [/quote]
