Used to live in NW DC (apartment) and bought a house in a rural area in Maryland. I grew up in the closer in DMV suburbs. I love this area. The diversity cannot be beat. There are some wonderfully smart people around here. The local economy and job opportunities are unmatched for my industry. Multiple counties have pretty good school systems. [/quote]
