[/quote] Isn’t the point that some of the stores are more highly targeted and the risk is that the companies will decide to just close those stores? I remember when I moved to DC in the early 90s and there were almost no stores in the cities. There was woodies downtown and the nice hardware store at DuPont but otherwise I used to rent a car for the day (weekend rates from enterprise!) to drive out to seven corners to buy things like towels and trash cans and desk lamps.
