[/quote] In my experience, PTOs are little fiefdoms run by parents with too much free time who spend money on frivolous things. Admins use them as shields and shiny objects to make parents feel "engaged". I don't blame them for doing it but it's smoke and mirrors. The only ones that seem to make a difference are JKLM that use them to give $ to teachers. [/quote]
