[/quote] I know you meant this as a dig at Hunter but please understand a lot of people have parents who unfortunately struggle with addiction and it’s pretty crappy to basically consign anyone in that position to being a loser because of their parent’s struggle. Having an addict as a parent doesn’t mean it’s a given you’ll turn out poorly even though you will go through hard stuff. It’s possible that as much as his addiction has impacted him and his family he is also a loving dad whose adult kids have found a place of loving him despite what he struggles with.
