I think this is it. What better comment to give a woman than "you don't look like you're aging"? People want to say something nice and think the best thing is to pretend like we aren't getting old. It's awful. I hope one day we can find beauty with age. [/quote]

I feel uncomfortable when people lie to me because false flattery does not feel good. What surprises me are those who believe it when people say it. Others are either not bothered by the lies or don't realize they are being lied to. This goes back to my fascination with the deluded mine. It's like an internal trick mirror at the circus that shows the person what they want to see.[/quote]
