This is a charter that teaches a language as a plus factor, just like YY, or Stokes, or whatever. I am biracial, but have no problem with an Afrocentric school if it WORKS. I have no problem with hospitality industry charters, law-based charters, journalism-focused charters. All of these exist in the District, too. If they WORK, couldn't care less about whether they appeal to a niche of interests that are my sons'.[/quote]
