As a vegetarian: Apps: hummus and crackers/veg is enough. Shot glasses of vegan vichyssoise seems too minimal for Thanksgiving, but vegan soup would be awesome as a side dish for the main dinner (offered in a bowl, not a shot glass) Sides: I love that you'll set aside vegan mashed potatoes. Very thoughtful. Yes to roasted vegetables. No mushrooms. Not all vegans like them. How do you make your dressing/stuffing? If it's box mix, it's not vegan. No field roast. Sometimes it's just weird. Add: Salad with lots of ingredients (and store bought vegan dressing), Fresh sauteed green beans with almonds.
Obviously OP as an allergy parent and as a generally thoughtful person reads labels. Not all of use use BOX MIXES for stuffing, you know. (Or maybe you don’t, if you are a perpetual guest and not a host, which from the general entitled inanity of your post, sounds like the case.)
What the hell are you so angry about? Did you miss the part where I literally asked how she makes the dressing? That is a very good indication that I'm not implying everyone uses a box mix. Tell me, what is "entitled" about offering suggestions to someone who asked for suggestions? Or are just "triggered" by the very idea of a vegan?
