Hello and thank you for doing this. I am a believer, and am open to all things i don't fully understand. So with that said, my question: What is the energy you see surrounding my DC, "S". DC is taking an unconventional route as compared to my other DC, so it makes me anxious. Thank you!
Page 4 Poster 16:21 Hello! I will begin by saying I generally only read for the person who is coming to me. However, I actually feel this question is more about you than your DC. I get the sense that when they speak to you about the path they want to take, they are passionate about it and believe in that path and themselves. What is most important is that YOU believe in them as well…even if it makes you nervous. What is it that makes you nervous? I am feeling that you may be hearing what other people think about this choice and their opinions are leeching into your psyche. You need to try and drown those voices out and listen to your child as well as your own intuition first and foremost. Our rational minds are what can cause us anxiety, but if you can quiet your mind, you may find your inner voice has a different opinion. The cards that I pulled are Intuition, Practicality, Fruition, Extremes and the tarot cards 5 of Cups, 5 of Swords, 2 of Swords reverse with the 4 of Pentacles. I got the chills when the Intuition card came out as it confirms what I picked up in my minds eye. This is going to be very important to help you overcome that anxiety that you feel. I think that for you, safety lies in the practical and nothing that lies much outside that boundary. I do think that you may be surprised at just how much your DC can bring to life if you trust in them, be not only a parent, but a friend that they can rely on should they falter. The 5 of cups can sometimes lean towards grief, but I am feeling this card more as nervous energy that things can go wrong. While this is always a possibility, it is important to also look at what can go right! I do see you eventually getting to a point where you are more comfortable with their path and it will be important for you to listen to your child and not always have to give input. There will be times when that is important, but learn how to differentiate between being a listener and advise giver.
Thank you, THANK YOU!! Talk about chills OP. You tapped into exactly how I'm feeling about DS's passion that he wants to follow. I am a very traditional person, who has a very untraditional DC. I am constantly worried about what others will think, and that DS will be judged for his choices. This then feeds into my insecurities surrounding him in general, as I do find myself doubting him and his abilities to "make a living" with the passion project he has chosen. Maybe I need to stop calling it a "project"...that would be a good first step. I'm so happy that I was patient and waited for your reply. I've been refreshing this page all week. Going to save this post. Thank you again OP. You have helped me immensely.
