Same.  County employees are terrified of his winning reelection.  It's like a gut punch.

His budget fiascos (which, granted, the Council rubber stamped this year because it was an election year) have largely gone unnoticed by the public.  But the house of cards he has built will come crumbling down in a 2nd term.  I guarantee an FY24 savings plan that cuts services, because he built so much of this year's budget on one-time federal funding.  [/quote]

I don’t know why Blair (and Riemer, for that matter) didn’t highlight the budget fiasco more. What Elrich and the council have done is incredibly negligent and will have lasting impacts on this county. I can’t tell how n my any dem voters are ignorant of this or simply don’t care.[/quote]
