[/quote] No, "we" don't "know" that the meat industry is inherently bad, OP. You, on the other hand, seem to be guided by strange opinions masquerading as facts. Most kids need to be eating more meat, not less. It is extremely difficult to get enough protein into kids (or anyone, for that matter) on a strictly plant-based diet, as the iron and other nutrients are not as bioavailable. I want my kids to be strong and healthy. They will continue to eat meat, and yes, schools should be providing it. A registered dietitian[/quote]
