If someone who identifies as a Buddhist says it's not a religion but a philosophical system, I'll respect their views, but that doesn't change the very widely held belief that it is , indeed, a religion. As far as the tax thing, you make a good point. The IRS recognizes Scientology as a religion, but many reasonable people would not agree that it is. [/quote]
