So, how are they going to preserve privacy?  When I was teaching, I would have parents try to get information out of me about students in my class who were not theirs. They would ask leading questions trying to find out if Johnny really was that much of a bully.  Or, is Susie really the smartest kid in class.  That type of thing.

I cannot imagine how this could be done.  This is not just about teachers.  Parents had the right to observe and were welcome in my classroom (though I cannot say I enjoyed having them there).  Before COVID, parents were welcome in classrooms.   But, it does have a downside.  As a parent, I had another parent call me to complain about "johnny" (not my child) and what could we do to get the LD kids out of the class.  I told her I was fine with having them in the class--that my DD enjoyed having both teachers in there.   (My DD was academically at/near top of class)[/quote]
