Sinema just blew up the revenue side of the bills, asking basically for no changes to the tax code. Manchin and his fossil fule money have blown up the climate change components and Sinema and her Pharma money have blown up the healthcare components. Its almost like the Koch funded politicians are ruling the roost at the expense of the American people.
They’re both gutter trash. What they and the whole GOP are doing is absolutely repellent. They want America, born in 1776, to die so that they can make a Frankenstein’s monster of its part that they think will be more to their liking. They’re stopping all progress, the Republican governors have done all they could to make sure that covid has killed as many as possible, and we’re going to live in a warmer world because of this. I want to know why it is that Republicans get their way every time they’re in power, but Democrats, having won the WH and both houses of Congress, have to piece meal it and nary a Republican can be found who cares enough about the earth or America and the people who live here to play ball. Absolutely dumb, disgusting wastes of taxpayer money. [twitter]https://twitter.com/tribelaw/status/1451076847681380356[/twitter]
If you want to make claims to 1776 then you need to understand that the Senate is not, and was never, meant to be reflective of population numbers (that's the house). It was to balance the states and prevent a numerical majority from always triumphing over the minority. The FF were very concerned about the tyranny of the majority (as well as the minority). So far it's done the job quite well.
You advertise loudly your ignorance and inability to read a simple tweet. We’re currently suffering under the tyranny of the minority. Land doesn’t vote, but we’re subject to the whims of red states, even though they lost. It’s ridiculous, and it’s against what the founders wanted. They weren’t against progress like the GOP evidently is.
I suspect you have no clue what the Founding Fathers wanted or argued over or debated. I can tell from your post. Even the twitter itself has no real base. Where is this 70% of Americans who apparently support this voting reform?
