Hi! I have a young teenager who struggles with both physical and emotional complaints - fatigue, pain, and anxiety are the most prominent. We are using some less conventional treatment modalities now - after exhausting traditional ones. Are we on the right track? Is healing or even improvement “in the cards” for her in the next 6 months?
Hello! I pulled the Queen of Swords in reverse, the Ace of Cups, the Wheel of Fortune, and The Lovers in reverse. The Queen of Swords reverse is indicating that there may be a lot of self criticism going on with her, which makes sense since you said that she has a lot of anxiety. The Lovers in reverse suggests an imbalance and this is an imbalance within the self. The Ace Of Cups is a great card and it's offering the gift of love and peace. This is usually seen in the form of a relationship with someone, but in this reading it has to do with the self. I feel like having the Wheel come out after, there may be a shift in her perspective that can bring about a new way of her seeing herself. So I feel like this is showing the anxiety is stemming from an imbalance within her and that perhaps these new, non-conventional treatments will be a gift that can help to change that imbalance. I also have a child with very bad anxiety. I purchased a set of oracle cards for him to use when he is feeling out of touch and anxious. They have actually helped him quite a bit and they allow him to do some self reflection. We always try to emphasize that he is not his anxiety and the positive affirmations on the oracle cards seem to help him separate the two. It could be worth looking into. I have also put on some guided meditations with him when he is really bad and the seriously lessen the panic. I did them with him the first couple of times and the difference was pretty incredible. I can recommend some good decks if you'd like.
