Can someone list the books in question? The only title I've seen is Lawn Boy. Are there others? I'd like to read them for myself. Also, to clarify, these books are in some of the high school libraries, but they aren't being used a teaching material in class? That's a pretty big difference to me.
The other book pulled for review is Gender Queer (a graphic novel). Correct, they are available in a handful of high school/secondary libraries, not being used (to my knowledge) in a classroom.
The books should be required reading for the book banning parents. Maybe they’d actually learn something about human development and relationships. Since many are clearly lacking.
Or maybe they’d prefer not to have their money spent on books that normalize sexual activity involving 4th graders, you delusional, pretentious cretin.
Not PP (or the poster posting all that angry red stuff), nor should I really respond to someone using this kind of language, but you really should probably read the book before you spout all of this. The book in no way normalizes the behavior. But as this in an anonymous message board and you clearly just want to call people names, I can pretty much guarantee you won't actually read the book.
