I’ll kink-shame this MFer (and any others) whose “kink” involves any sort of torture, real or imaginary, of women. It’s been studied, and men who are into BDSM are far more likely to abuse women. And women, if you enjoy this, I just encourage you to dig deep-down and ask yourself why. F!ck this dude. Seriously.
There are plenty of men in BDSM who are the submissive or masochistic partner. And even among men who are the Dom, most are not abusive. I encountered many more monsters in the vanilla community. At least in this area, female submissives tend to warn each other about who doesn’t respect safe words or is coercive in a non-consensual way.
Vanilla community? Ffs. People who are so desperate to feel special are so boring. Not the other way around.
My guess is that straight White Christian culture is your mental default.
I'm a half Italian, half Boricua (closested) atheist so I fully don't believe anything we do in this life matters beyond this actual life, including any sex you have or violence you enjoy or don't- oh and I guess I might be considered part of the queer community too, although honestly that's not a label I give myself because my long term monogamous relationship is hetero and I'm cis and female presenting so I've never had to pass for anything I wasn't in order to have rights/equal treatment, etc. I can still call out people who are exhausting with all their acronyms, hierarchies and just overall silliness. "Play" is a good example, whenever anyone describes their actions as "play" its like "ok buckle up, I am doing something so special and not vanilla". Honestly I don't even care if that's your thing, the sex habits part aren't what makes you "weird" its the need to find yourself interesting or special with all this lingo and faux community building.
Have you ever heard the term hypocrite?
