A lot of it is genetics. I did not get perfect genes, so instead I work very, very hard to stay (relatively) slim. I am 5'7", 120lb. It requires a lot of exercise and self-control. I also fast one day a week.
That’s not relatively slim it is slim. JFC the disordered thinking in this thread.
Thank you. That's a BMI of <19.
Seriously. That’s 2 lbs away from being clinically underweight. This poster has an eating disorder. No one should be fasting one day a week at that weight, especially since it seems like it doesn’t come naturally to her. I’m 5’4’’ 123, so I guess I’m a fatty on this thread.
Seriously. I’m your height and 118, and I consider myself thin. I have a 25 inch waist, but with wide hips, and a thigh gap due to the wider hips. I am thin as in I don’t have much body fat. If I got to 110 lbs or a BMI under 19 I’d be very sick. Some people have smaller bones or a more narrow set frame, but generally speaking, a BMI under 20 is thin. It can be perfectly healthy, but it is objectively thin.
