Yes, a 2.6 is not stellar but you have identified your child's issues and are working on them. I graduated high school with a 2.8, went to a top ranked STEM program and ended up with a PhD and now make over 300k a year. It isn't hopeless. There is something to be said for a big school with a lot of choices of majors where your child can find a passion and hopefully move out of the rut s/he is in. [/quote]
