I am married to a progressive. My friends are mostly slightly left of me, though I have some republican friends too. You should have either figured out your values before you got married, or you should have learned how to live with your differences. When you hit your fifties, you realize that most of this is DRAMA. If you are at peace with yourself and your values, and you choose to spend time with others with similar values, you have a lot more tolerance for differences. [/quote]
