This is really the crux.  This period of time is not a minor inconvenience to a fair number of people and your inability to see that is an issue on you.[/quote]

It's not really on me b/c we are tolerating it fine. It's on you, actually, as you seem to not be able to do so. We are spending time together, [b]making plans for next year's travel[/b] (if we are able), and focusing on the things we control.

At the point that your biggest pandemic problem is "delayed foreign travel," you need to see your own privilege, which is massive.
